Representation of reality  Using Jean Beaudrillard's theory of representation. Media representation are always only at best a reflection of reality.  Any media representation is  not  the same thing as reality. Stage One - in the early stages of a representation, it is a reflection of reality.   Stage Two - in the next stage of a representation, it masks and perverts reality. Stage Three - in the next stage of a representation, it marks an absence of reality. Stage Four - in the final stages of a representation, it is a bears no resemblance to reality.
